VALOR-22 LLC ("VALOR-22," "Company," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users ("User," "you," or "your"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you access or use the VALOR-22 platform (the "Platform").

VALOR-22 LLC was founded by Adrian Thomas Brand, a United States Army Infantry and Civil Affairs veteran. We take the privacy of our veterans, active duty service members, Reservists, National Guard members, their families, and patriots seriously and are committed to full transparency in how your data is handled.

By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Platform.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Platform and its features
• Process transactions, manage orders, and facilitate vendor payouts
• Personalize your experience and deliver relevant content and recommendations
• Send administrative communications (account verification, security alerts, policy updates)
• Send promotional communications (with your consent; you may opt out at any time)
• Moderate content and enforce community guidelines using AI-powered and manual review
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Analyze Platform usage to improve functionality and user experience
• Comply with applicable legal obligations and respond to lawful requests

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: Third-party companies that assist in Platform operations (hosting, analytics, payment processing, email delivery)
• Legal Compliance: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
• Safety & Protection: To protect the rights, property, or safety of VALOR-22 LLC, our Users, or the public
• Other Users: Information you choose to make public (profile, posts, community activity)
• Business Partners: With your explicit consent
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets of VALOR-22 LLC

VALOR-22 uses third-party large-language-model services (including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google AI) to power the following features:

• Content moderation: automated review of posts, comments, and direct messages for community-guideline compliance
• VA-support assistant: answering questions about Veterans Affairs benefits, claims, and resources
• Content recommendations: personalized feed ranking and creator suggestions
• Topic tagging & summarization: automatic hashtag generation and post summaries

When you submit content to these features, the relevant text and metadata are sent to the underlying AI provider for processing. We do not use your content to train AI models. AI outputs are advisory only and do not constitute medical, legal, or financial advice. You may opt out of personalized recommendations in Settings → Privacy.

Automated moderation decisions can be appealed via the in-app appeals flow. Final review is conducted by human moderators.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Platform's services. We may also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and for legitimate business purposes.

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a commercially reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

VALOR-22 is operated from the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States. If you access the Platform from the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or another region with data-protection laws, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States.

If the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, you have the following additional rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data
• Right to restrict or object to processing
• Right to data portability
• Right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing
• Right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority

Our legal bases for processing are: performance of our contract with you (providing the Platform), your consent (e.g., marketing, optional features), our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the Platform), and compliance with legal obligations. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information, to limit our use of sensitive personal information, to data portability, and to be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information (such as military service status or precise location) for purposes other than those permitted by law. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal.

The categories of personal information we collect and disclose to service providers, the specific rights available to you, and how to submit a verifiable request (including through an authorized agent) are set out on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. We respond to California requests within 45 days, with one extension where permitted.

Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Texas) may exercise the equivalent rights available to them by contacting support@valor-22.com.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption, access controls, and secure data storage.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Data Breach Notification: If we become aware of a security incident that has compromised your personal information, we will investigate promptly and notify you and the applicable regulators as required by law — including notification to affected users without unreasonable delay, and, where the GDPR applies, notification to the competent supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of a qualifying breach. Notifications will describe what happened, the information involved, and the steps we and you can take.
